Terms of Use

Captains Operated by Simon Luo Last updated: 25 March 2026

By using Captains, you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an Apple ID to sign in. You’re responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. One account per person.

Your content

You own the videos, comments, and chat messages you create. By posting them in Captains, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, and distribute your content to other players in your games. This licence exists so the app works — we won’t use your content for anything else. The licence ends when you delete your content or your account.

You’re responsible for what you post. Don’t post:

We can remove any content that violates these rules and suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate them, at our discretion.

Flagging

Players can flag submissions they believe violate the rules or don’t match the challenge. Flagging is a gameplay mechanic and a moderation tool. Abuse of the flag system (e.g. coordinated false flagging) may result in account suspension.

Changes to the app

We may adjust game mechanics, features, and functionality at any time to improve the experience.

Availability

We aim to keep the app running but can’t guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or discontinue the app at any time. Where reasonably possible, we’ll give advance notice of significant changes.

Liability

We do our best to provide a good experience, but:

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app at any time. To delete your account and data, email feedback@simonluo.com.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you in the app where possible. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We’ll update the “Last updated” date when changes are made.
