“Contract” means we need this data to provide the service you signed up for. “Consent” means you actively opted in and can withdraw at any time. “Legitimate interest” means we have a reasonable business need that doesn’t override your rights.
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. It may be processed outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on Supabase’s data protection measures and standard contractual clauses.
Your data exists as long as your account does. Videos are stored for the lifetime of the game they belong to. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days.

We send push notifications for game events (new challenges, submissions, eliminations, chat). You can disable these in iOS Settings at any time, which also revokes our consent to use your device token.
Captains is not intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk
If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and notify you in the app where possible.
